Dan Carlin (MD) - Dan has been working in food wholesale since 1985. Pork and bacon were his original speciality having grown up in, and subsequently expanded his family company Castlewood Farm Products. The widening of the Epicure range is largely due to Dan's reading of the trends in the catering trade. Dan is married to Liz and they have 2 young boys and a girl. Dan has other business interests around the sport of horse racing and lists reading and current affairs as his hobbies. 'My ideal customer is always willing to have a go at a new idea'
Joanna Przyborowska (Accounts )- Joanna has been with Epicure since September 2009. The current job is Joanna's fourth position since arriving from her native Poland where she qualified in accountancy. Previously in Northern Ireland, Joanna worked in the poultry industry and also in the jewellery business (which she admits has given her expensive tastes). Joanna is engaged to Andrzej and enjoys swimming and cycling in her spare time. Joanna's favourite thing about living in Belfast is the city's interesting history and great night life. Joanna is currently studying for her CIMA exams.
Laura Jackson (Telesales and Admin) recently returned after baby number 5 (two girls and three boys). Busy working mum Laura makes most of the outgoing calls in the Epicure office. Laura cut her teeth in sales in the stationery industry and also worked as a photographer in maternity wards. Laura has lived all her life near Mallusk and has loads of family connections in the area. Laura is married to Ian and the latest project is renovating a charming cottage. Laura thinks the nicest part of the job is making friends with customers and helping them grow their business.

Operating from a 30,000 square feet frozen and chilled cold-store on the outskirts of Belfast, our fleet of four temperature-controlled vehicles serve a range of outlets from the five star hotel through to the gastro pub, coffee shop or fast food outlet.
Our food deliveries and catering deliveries
We offer a next day delivery service throughout the greater Belfast area. Outlying areas can expect delivery no later than 3 days guaranteed from the time an order is placed. Same day delivery is available and there is an emergency backup number for Saturday and Sunday deliveries - 07808 395 812. To arrange a delivery, contact our Northern Ireland office.

Your primary sales contact is Dan Carlin, Sales Director. With some 20 years’ experience selling food to commercial kitchens, Dan is ably assisted by Joanna Przyborowska - Accounts Administrator, Laura Jackson and Nikki Leese in Sales & Administration. In addition, our team of delivery drivers, service the needs of our customers on the road.
A worthy cause - You may be interested to know that Epicure have recently commenced supporting the FareShare charity. An interesting concept, born in England, where food companies contribute their waste products for the feeding of homeless people. Epicure does not generate much short dated stock but it is nice to know that the company is helping others.
Epicure Select Foods Ltd operates rigorous HACCP systems agreed with all suppliers. Our fully trained delivery personnel monitor product temperature from arrival at our warehouse right to the point of delivery. We also hold STS approval - a stringent UK-based quality standard.
